How to install Minikube in Ubuntu 20.04?

To install Minikube on Ubuntu 20.04, you can follow these steps:

  1. Update apt package index: sudo apt update
  2. Install dependencies: sudo apt install curl
  3. Download and install kubectl: sudo curl -LO "https://dl.k8s.io/release/$(curl -L -s https://dl.k8s.io/release/stable.txt)/bin/linux/amd64/kubectl" sudo install -o root -g root -m 0755 kubectl /usr/local/bin/kubectl
  4. Download and install docker: sudo apt install docker.io sudo usermod -aG docker $USER newgrp docker
  5. Download and install minikube: curl -LO https://storage.googleapis.com/minikube/releases/latest/minikube-linux-amd64 sudo install minikube-linux-amd64 /usr/local/bin/minikube
  6. Install additional dependencies: sudo apt install conntrack
  7. Verify the installation by checking the version: minikube version
