If you are using a different Linux distribution, you can follow the steps below to install Telegram:
- Visit the official Telegram website at https://telegram.org/dl/desktop/linux and click on the "Download" button for the Linux version.
- Depending on your Linux distribution, you may receive a .deb or a .tar.xz file. If you receive a .deb file, double-click on it to launch the package installer. If you receive a .tar.xz file, extract its contents to a directory of your choice.
- Open a terminal and navigate to the directory where you extracted the Telegram files (if applicable).
- Run the Telegram executable file. You can do this by typing "./Telegram" (without quotes) in the terminal and pressing Enter.
- Telegram will start up and ask you to provide your phone number for verification. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
That's it! You should now have Telegram installed on your Linux system.
